A 24-year-old AI Engineer based in Canada, Dineth built Heppuwa with a singular vision: to democratize the Sri Lankan wedding industry. Inspired by international standards but deeply rooted in local hospitality, he recognized the immense challenge couples faced in organizing weddings without professional help—and the struggle for emerging businesses to get discovered.
Heppuwa is his answer: a digital ecosystem that gives every startup a stage and every couple a seamless planning experience.
Shashini Hettiarachchi
Co-Founder & Architectural Designer
As an Architectural Designer in Sri Lanka, Shashini understands that a wedding isn't just an event; it's a designed experience. Having witnessed the logistical complexities her friends faced, she brings a designer's eye for detail and an empathy for the user journey to Heppuwa.
She ensures the platform isn't just functional, but captures the soul of Sri Lankan celebrations, bridging the gap between chaotic planning and architectural precision.
